Candidates must have passed the 12th standard (Intermediate) with at least 50% marks and possess or be in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), or a relevant diploma.
Level II
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) for Classes 6-8
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and a 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree, OR be in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Other equivalent qualifications as per the official notification are also accepted.
Level III
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) for Classes 9-12
Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant subject (e.g., Physics, Maths, Commerce, History, etc.). Additionally, the postgraduate subject should have been a major subject during graduation. A B.Ed or M.Ed degree with at least 50% marks is also mandatory.
